I am fairly new to simscale and even though I have tried doing some research regarding it, I cannot find what the gamma value is for when used for pressure inle/outlet. Could anyone please help explain?
gamma is the heat capacity ratio, Cp/Cv. If you are preparing a subsonic simulation, normally Mach number < 0.8, you don’t need to set gamma. This is regardless of the simulation being incompressible or compressible.
If you are simulating above 0.8, let me know and we can go through more details.
