I am trying to simulate the airflow in an HRV, eventually I want to add fans to the project but for now I am just trying to simulate the airflow through the box and core. I tried to run my study, but the mesh failed.

Any suggestion on how to fix my mesh would be appreciated. Also, if anyone has any suggestion on how to improve my current study, please let me know I am fairly new to Simscale, and CFD simulations in general, and I would like to increase my knowledge in the area.

Hey and welcome to the forum!

I see many small details in your model, such as holes, fillets and thin plates. This makes the mesh really big in number of elements (to properly capture the details).

You can try to lower the mesh fineness, or clean up the model of unnecessary small details and parts.

Okay! I’ll clean my model up, and make the mesh coarser
