I am trying to import an STEP file into an regular incompressible flow simulation. However, the STEP file generates the message “Geometry contains faults”, something which I have never experienced before when improting STEP files into SimScale. Even more strange, Ansys Fluent seems to take the STEP mesh well so I doubt it is an file issue.
Please note, since I am on the academic version, I can’t make my project public to share.

It’s a bit difficult to tell what the issue is exactly without having a look at your project in particular - if you share it with support you can still paste the browser’s URL here for us to take a closer look. As to your comment:
You should be able to make your projects public by enabling this setting on your dashboard:
