Simulation error

I was running a heat transfer simulation for TPMS heat exchanger. The TPMS core was heated with 100 W/m2 while the other wall were defined as Adiabatic conditions. But an unexpected error occurred due to some unknown reason while the mesh or the simulation was running (See the attached snapshot).
Here is the project link.

Thank you!

Hey @DongLiang ,

Thanks for reporting this to the team. It seems you tried a workaround and the simulation ran successfully? Please let us know here what the issue or solution was, so the rest of the community can make use of this information.

I cannot find the run that failed with an unexpected error anymore in your project. Did you delete it by any chance? I am afraid, there is no way for us to take a look if it’s deleted. If you remember the settings that caused it or if you are able to recreate it, do let us know!

Best,
Satvik

Hi Satvik,

Thanks for your follow-up. I successfully ran the simulation on the SIMSCALE platform and compared the results with those from Fluent. The imported models are Ntop implicit files.

The flow field match well with the Fluent results, but the heat transfer results do not align (Check the screenshot). Could we arrange an online discussion with your team? It’s important to validate the SIMSCALE results.

Best,
Dong
