@Maciek, awesome work! What CAD software did you use? Agreed, the pressure convergence often is challenging. Regarding (2) and (4):
(2) → Tracked as a feature request and +1 for you 
(4) You can find this option under “Numerics” where it says “… residual control” (see image below). Once all residual control values are reached, the solver will end its run and write by default the last time step.
