Recreating M = 2 wedge flow

I am trying to recreate this tutorial:

The tutorial uses “Multi-Purpose”, but I am trying to use “Compressible”. I created the CAD externally and imported it. I noticed some differences in settings. For example, for the outlet BC, the tutorial has “Absolute Static Pressure”, but mine has “Pressure”. Also, in Numerics the tutorial’s solver under Schemes we have “Spatial Discretization”. But in mine, the choices under Schemes are totally different: Time Differentiation, Gradient, Divergence, Laplacian, Interpolation, etc. There are other differences too.

I’d like to replicate exactly the tutorial, the reason being that my current attempt is crashing after. Can you tell me how to set up this simulation per the tutorial? Thanks!

Hey @lelandswimsz ,

The Multi-purpose solver is different from the compressible as mentioned in this Forum post.

“Compressible” was a locked feature. I was able to use it for free because I’m a student. Is the same true for “Multi-Purpose”?

Thank you
