I am trying to visualize turbulence in my simulation. I am suing Paraview to post process my results. I wanted to use Q criterion to do this, but I haven’t added vorticity to my results control in my simulation. Is there a way to use scripts or some kind of calculation inside Paraview to obtain the Q criterion?

You need to add vorticity in the result control item in order to have it calculated in the results. Once that is done you can use it for offline Paraview analysis but if you did not do it you could calculate it with a filter using the equations for Q Criterion or (Lambda 2 if you like) - will post a step-by-step either tomorrow or Sunday
