Is it possible to produce a profile plot or graph of a parameter on a surface? For example, if I wanted to show the velocity profile at a cross section of a pipe flow such as shown here:
How would I go about creating this plot?
Hi @mbromley not directly in SimScale but if you download the results and open in paraview you can.
you will simply need to create a ‘plot over line’ and to export that data to compare to experimental results or something just export data as .csv

Excellent, thank you! I just downloaded Paraview and was able to get the plot I wanted pretty quickly, I appreciate the help!

I see this question has been asked a while back. Is it possible now to plot without downloading the run?
