Hi, I am doing one of the tutorials of external aerodynamics of a car. I have followed each and every step and I triple checked all the settings. The only setting I have changed is the turbulence model, which is k-omega sst. Mesh was generated successfully, but when it came to simulation, it took 508 minutes (135 core hours) and my simulation progress was still at 0%. Can someone explain whats wrong ?? Any help will be appreciated !! Thankyou !
Hello mn21pbs.
I noted that you have changed the Time dependency from Steady-State to transient.
With the adjustable time step to true this reduced the delta time, so that you don’t see any progress.
Thus I’d recommend switching back to the default k-wSST model and steady state.
If you want to stick with transient you can have a look at this video on how to set up a cost-efficient transient simulation.
