Pressure Visualisation

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know what kind of pressure is being visualised in post-processing in SimScale? Am I looking at total pressure or static pressure when choosing to visualise “Pressure”

Hi Pam!

It is the static pressure. Some additional tip from my colleague @mbemis:

Fast way to check/see: if you define a total pressure inlet BC and then check the post process there will be a dependency between the BC and what the PP is showing at that face. The difference is the dynamic term. Of course is easier to see in higher speed flows.
