Pressure simulation settings for Cp calculations

I am looking at 2D laminar flow and would like to find the Cp distribution around the objects (circular cylinder, NACA 0012 airfoil). How do I set the freestream pressure to do this calculation?

Hi @vyvo and sorry for the delayed response.

Imho there is no general answer to this question since the pressure distribution is strongly connected to the shape of the profile. On page 5 of this thesis: A simple foam tutorial you can find some comments on the inlet/outlet condition of the pressure.

For low velocities the pressure on the pressure-side is likely to be very close to the ambient static pressure.
