Non-linear material, distinct tension/compression behaviors

I’d like to define a material with the following stress-strain relationship:

As you can see, the tension and compression behaviors are quite different. It doesn’t seem to be possible to define a material beyond using Von Mises stresses, which to my understanding would not allow this definition.
Can anyone confirm this?

Hey there!

In SimScale it is currently not possible to define materials with asymmetrical behaviors (different tension/compression curves).

I can also see that you have a portion in the compression with ‘negative’ tangent modulus. If I am not mistaken, this would also be a problem for the plasticity model. Has this type of curve been implemented in other solvers? Could you please provide some more information?
