Multiphase gutter flor

Hi,
I’m trying to model a gutter and downpipe for my house as it is smaller than the building code in NZ allows (4000mm2 min)
The gutter is servicing 10m2 catchment and a flow of 1Ls-1

I’m just modelling a flow in and the output of the downpipe showing capacity - but I can get it to look right - can anyone share some insight?

HI Andrew, summing up our chat the other day, the changes you were adviced to make were:

  1. The velocity inlet should be -2, because it flows towards the negative y direction.
  2. The mesh should be recreated with the ‘Fine’ level, in order to avoid unrealistic high values on cells due to being too coarse.
