'Multiphase Flow: Rising Bubble' simulation project by sjoshi

I created a new simulation project called 'Multiphase Flow: Rising Bubble':

This project simulates the rising of a bubble in fluid due to buoyancy.

More of my public projects can be found here.

@sjoshi, I have been studying your simulation and I was wondering how do you have chosen those fluids. I know you have finished it a long time ago, but I would like to ask you a couple of question if you don’t mind.

Both phases are really viscous. Was it a attempt to keep the Reynolds Number low, and then, to keep it as a laminar flow?

Hello @nfernan3! Sorry for responding so late, I had been away from the forum for a while.

The reason for choosing the fluid in this manner was to validate a benchmark for multiphase simulations. You can find documentation for this validation case here.

I hope that helps.
