Inlets and outlet problems

Hello, I just finished a simulation and the inlets and outlets spike up and down every rapidly. I was wondering if this causes any inaccuracy in the simulation. If it does do you know how to fix this rapid spiking and decline. The forces aren’t quite different between the two meshes(regular and hex dominant mesh) except for the total drag force that is the y axis pressure + viscous force. Please let me know how to fix this and if it affects the simulation accuracy.

thank you for your help, time, and effort👍,

Hi Frank!

If you wish to check convergence, make sure to monitor the “Residuals” tab, and not the rest of them listed

However, can you also send me the link to the project please, so I can check?

Best regards,
Fillia

here is the project link - https://www.simscale.com/workbench/?pid=3989353462007021982&mi=spec%3A20aee6fb-5fb7-460d-9b5c-c78a935c6efc%2Cservice%3AMESHING%2Cstrategy%3A52&sh=27

i think I put it above too

Thank you for sharing!

This seems to be a meshing issue, I tried with the default settings for the standard mesher -same settings-, and here are the results:
