I am new in this platform. I want to run CFD on a personal project. When I am trying to upload an STL file it is showing this error (given in screenshot). Size of the file is 106 mb. It is taking too much time to upload it and at the end it is failing with this error message.

Thanks for using SimScale’s forum.
I see that your STL import fails due to upload time. This generally happens if the STL has a lot of faces or sheet bodies and SimScale was not able to clean them at the import. I cannot figure out why in particular this fails unless I get some more information on the model itself.
Can you please provide me with the following details to troubleshoot:
What is the CAD tool you are using to export the STL file?
Did you try to export the model in other generic formats like .stp, .x_t, .iges etc? This might sometimes help understand if there are CAD faults in the model.
As we are not able to see the model, it would be great if you can share the project link in the response or atleast the stl file itself.
Once we have an eye on the model, I can give my pointers to solve this import issue.
