Import CATIA assembly into Simscale

Hello,

Someone knows how to import an assembly from CATIA to Simscale? I want to work on a CFD simulation and be able to define different mesh settings to different parts. Right now I’m doing it like this: Tools > Generate CAT Part From Product…>Save as > STL.

And then I’m importing it to Simscale but it opens as a single part. Someone has a good method to do this?

Hi @andresuriegas,

could you try the export as a step file? The next step would be uploading the step file to OnShape and exporting it from there as stl.

@andresuriegas Hello from my experience, the best way to do this is to export different STL file for every single part and then merge them using a text editor.
