How to properly simulate load on transformer secondaries without affecting voltage calculations?

Question: How to properly simulate load on transformer secondaries without affecting voltage calculations?

I have a transformer simulation where:

  • Primary is voltage-excited and working correctly

  • Secondaries show proper induced voltages under no-load conditions

  • Now I need to simulate load conditions on the secondaries

The Problem:

When I try to use current excitation on the secondaries to simulate load, it interferes with the natural voltage induction calculations.

Seeking Solution:

What’s the correct approach to model load on transformer secondaries while maintaining accurate voltage calculations? Should I calculate equivalent secondary currents based on load requirements and transformer parameters, or is there a better method?

Current Setup:

  • 3-phase transformer simulation

  • Primary windings: voltage excitation

  • Secondary windings: need proper load modeling

Any guidance on the best practice for transformer load simulation would be appreciated.
