Frequency study - shock absorber - New topic from existing topic 99951

Good evening, the latest news on the project are the following

  1. I have simplified as much as I could the model using point masses wherever possible for two reasons.
Initially the overall structure was over heavyweight. A PHALANX system could totally weight 6,5 tons , though in simscale the model weighted 66 tons approximately. The model was solid no thin shell elements where used when designing in NX (I do not know if there is such an option though) Using point masses would also decrease the mesh size and the analysis setup though rigid body motions where found in the model . Also despite first estimates of 17 - 40 minutes of simulation duration , the frequency analysis runs 263 mins…Could you help me a bit ? I think I am close enough on finishing the project - can’t think of other tricks regarding model simplifications. Here is the Link to the project https://www.simscale.com/workbench/?pid=2821355096127044751&mi=spec%3A1ffc5f3c-e48d-4c62-9052-2467e87c29c6%2Cservice%3ASIMULATION%2Cstrategy%3A72

And a screenshot of the model ( only firing assembly and shock absorbers the rest point masses - boundary conditions )
