Formal definition of mesh quality parameters

Hello dear Simscale community,

I am working on some research projects and I would like to ask about the formal meaning of some meshing parameters so I could understand their meaning. Especially I would like to know what are the definitions of Aspect Ratio, Volume Ratio and Edge Ratios in the mesh quality log. How do we calculate them exactly, and what is the difference between Aspect Ratio and Edge Ratio? Is there any documentation for a Simscale Mesher where all of these would be explained?

unfortunately, I could not find good documentation about that on Simscale.
But there are good articles about these topics on Wikipedia like this one.
