Recently on the public project i came across PRC format for the CAD. Does that format help in reducing the simulation times? if yes, how can i convert STP or IGES to that format

CAD formats don’t hold correlation to simulation runtime (as long as the geometries are the same, of course). What matters in the end is mesh and the overall set up (tolerances, schemes, choosing appropriate initial conditions etc).
