I am trying to build an external flow volume for a parachute in the Edit CAD mode in Simscale. However, I get the error that the flow volume cannot be created since there are no solid bodies in the model. My parachute is open at the bottom like an open hemisphere, so I tried closing it but this disrupts when I’m defining the boundary conditions. How do I rectify this? This is how my parachute looks like.
I am trying to replicate the conditions in this project for different vent ratios. Thank you!
