What would be the direction of application of surface loads t<x>, t<y>, t<z> (pic1 attached), if my surface is not aligned with the cartesian coordinate system (pic2 attached)?

Hi Viven,
Please perfrom a vector projection for the direction that you want to apply the load. Then, express the vector in X,Y,Z components and enter those in the formula fields.

Is it possible to extract surface tractions (the normal and two tangential components of surface stresses) directly from SimScale outputs, for a surface that is not aligned with the cartesian coordinate system?
