Decompose velocity inlet from z-axis to z&x-axis

my project is like Simulating Thermal Comfort In a Ventilated Office Space - YouTube

at 2:13- velocity inlet
Original: i type 2m/s +z-axis
Now
I want to add an angle of the air inlet, tilt-up 30degree
So i decompose it into 1.73m/s +z-axis plus 1m/s +x-axis, by Pythagorean Theorem

To keep the airflow(CMH) constant, is it the correct way to do?

Hey there!

According to this scheme:
Vvertical = sin(30) × 2 =1
Vhorizontal = cos(30) × 2 = 1.732
