CHT Electronic speed controller

Hello
I was trying to simulate a natural convection process in Ansys FLUENT of an esc placed within a fuselage simulating the conditions experienced by it during its climb phase. The esc is placed 5mm above the fuselage floor and it has been given the source term input in the cell zone conditions of the solid as the heat source. The fuselage wall has been modelled as convective wall with appropriately calculated heat transfer coefficient for the freestream condition . The radiation model has also been enabled. The esc is expected to reach a maximum temperature of 383 K as seen in testing. However the area weighted average of my esc surface temperature is reaching around 800 K. What could be the issue in the modelling?
Thanks in advance

Hi akarshshtt8,

Thank you for sharing your simulation setup. While this is an interesting case, we unfortunately can’t provide direct support for simulations performed in ANSYS FLUENT, as our support is limited to simulation run within SimScale.

That being said, it might be worth double checking the heat source definition and units as well as material properties, since these can sometimes lead to unrealistically high temperatures if misconfigured.

Hope this helps.
