Changing simulation numerics after a few iterations

Hi,
I have a query regarding the simulation runs and their adaptability to changes in simulation numeric. If for example I have run 500 iterations at fairly low URFs and stop the simulation once its stabilised, would it be possible to continue the simulation but with higher URFs? From my understanding, lower URFs improve the stability of the solution, but I was wondering once the solution has stabilised (forces, residuals etc.) if I could then increase the URFs to reach the actual numbers I am expecting?

Hi @chithras09 ,

There is currently no way to stop a simulation, change the settings, and resume the simulation with a new set of relaxation factors. Please make sure to post your feedback in the open roadmap page - it helps to decide features to be developed/implemented.

For the moment, the way to use a dynamic relaxation is by setting it to “Automatic”. The URFs are changed dynamically throughout the simulation.

Cheers

Thanks!
