Is there a step by step tutorial on how to simulate a rotating marine propeller.

@gholami simulated a while ago a propeller - find the public project here: SimScale

You can make a copy of it and change your CAD model upstream to make use of the already existing mesh and simulation setup.

@mkitchen,

the most important part is that your CAD model does not just contain the propeller itself but also the part defining the rotating region around it. From then on you can reuse the meshing and simulation setup of @gholami.
