Hai…I m new to CFD …I m trying simulate a screw turbine at head of 1m .I want to obtain torque,angular velocity ,power and efficiency of turbine. I tried a simple cad (screw+shaft) and gave inlet flow rate and also tried several mesh refinements. Can someone help me …if it possible to calculate torque and angular velocity for such model… what are input parameter i should be using…how to mesh properly for rotating turbine… Also can tell me how to learn more about the input parameters…

Do you already have a geometry you can share with us? We can make some suggestions on how to modify your CAD and the simulation.
