Calculating flow rate

Hi,

Im having an issue displaying flow rate thru the selected face. /Incompressible simulation

What i have done.

1.) made internal volume

2.) Material is air

3.) Defined velocity inlet, pressure outlet and walls.

4.) Set up area integral on pressure outlet face.

5.) Ran simulation

  • Now my issue is that i cant see flow rate as a number in Post processing results. From the filters i select Statistics, and then select face. I select my pressure outlet face and statistics window doesnt pup up.
  • When I use filters, cutting plane the window with statics show up and i get flow rate thru the cutting plane Volumetric Flow Rate-0.18 m³/s

Now the issue is my pressure outlet is at an angle, so i cant really use the cutting plane to see the flow thru the whole plane.

Can someone assist me? I want to compare the flow between two runs/ similar objects to see which performs better.

Actually when you open the cutting plane option just click on the face of the object and the cutting plane will have the same angle as the face. And you will get the flow rate numbers and velocity.
