Hi,
I was trying to simulate bucking analysis in one of my projects " Soda can crushing ".
And, I found that there weren’t many features available to incorporate the damage evolution criteria or eigen mode values for buckling loads under any linear or non-linear static analysis.
Buckling analysis would not only help to estimate accurate onset of instability or other failure criterion’s, but also would be very useful during the assumption of eccentricity in load applications or boundary conditions.
Therefore, I would like to place a request for addition of this feature to SimScale such that the software could be used for a broader spectrum of analysis types.
