Yes I did. The issue was the gap between the stator and rotor. I just increased the gap in the model (which may have a slightly negative, likely negligible impact on flow). For the actually model for manufacturing, this gap will be reduced to avoid unnecessary flow disruptions.
From my understanding, it just comes down to small gaps. With rotating machinery that relies on small tip clearances, this is tough because you want smalls gaps. My solution (because of how rotating domains work in SimScale) is just to increase the gaps for the sim, and but them put for manufacturing to avoid losses.
