Assigning a value to multiple components

In my design, I am trying to assign a single value to a number of components. So I assigned a total heat of 1.7kW to a series of 4 transformers. I want to find out whether the method I used was wrong or right.

Hi,

If you assign a power source to 4 volumes and define a “Power source value” of 1700 W you will get 1.7 kW on each of the 4 volumes, for a total of 6.8 kW. Source: Power Sources (Heat Sources) | Advanced Concepts | SimScale
