as you are interested in the flow around these fins, only the air is needed. Therefore you have created the flow (air) volume. Thus you can also remove the fins, as these are not necessary for a single fluid simulation.
If you hide all the fins you can see that the fins have been subtracted from the flow volume, representing the air volume inside your cooling device.
