Often in the cities we can spot company name signs standing on the rooftops of buildings. In this simulation I study the wind load acting on a sign of a certain company set on a roof of a building. An often overlooked issue remains to be investigated: what is the force acting on a sign and what kind of mounting is required to fix said sign on the rooftop. Support structures are usually prepared before the installation and once in place might pose danger, supposed that they are not suited for strong wind load conditions. A numerical simulation prepared during design phase can ensure that the structure and the sing will hold.
