The "HydroCore" project introduces a multidisciplinary approach to overcome fundamental efficiency barriers in Hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEVs). The project integrates three innovative solutions:Nanocomposite Barriers: Utilizing Graphene Oxide (GO) to create a "tortuosity effect," reducing hydrogen permeation through storage tanks by up to 1000 times.Active Aerodynamics: Implementing Dielectric Barrier Discharge (DBD) plasma actuators to control the boundary layer and reduce aerodynamic drag ($C_d$) from 0.30 to 0.22.Energy Recovery: A Hybrid Energy Storage System (HESS) combining supercapacitors and Thermoelectric Generators (TEG) to capture waste heat and braking energy, significantly increasing the vehicle's driving range.
