3 ResultsI want to use SimScale to perform a CFD simulation of the airflow around our building design. The ground floor is covered but remains an open outdoor space. At the center of the building, there is a vertical opening that extends through all floors. The aim is to investigate the airflow through this opening under summer and winter conditions. In summer, I expect the opening to create a stack effect, drawing the cooler air from the covered outdoor ground floor upward through the building. The simulation should help visualize and quantify the airflow patterns and the influence of temperature differences between the outdoor spaces and the vertical opening.
