The wind load on a monument is being analyzed. 8 different wind directions are being simulated. The monument is about 20m high and hence subject to significant wind loads, where CFD is being used to predict them. In a first step, only average wind loads and pressure distribution on the surface is being simulated. The plan is to analyze transient wind loads lateron.
