analyze how different window placements affect indoor air quality in classrooms using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), specifically a three-dimensional, steady-state simulation. We will create a digital model of a classroom measuring 7 m × 9 m × 2.7 m and simulate different window configurations while keeping other conditions, such as total window-opening area and occupancy, consistent. Using software such as SimScale, we will compare airflow distribution, air velocity, air changes per hour (ACH), and indoor carbon dioxide (CO₂) concentration to identify which window placement may help improve indoor air quality. Through this computational approach, we hope to provide useful insights into classroom window design without physically modifying the classroom.
