Gas water heaters are commonly used in houses as an a substitute to electric resistance heating. As a result of the process, some hazardous gases are produced, including CO. Normally these gases are taken straight to the outside through a chimney. Problems with this chimney could result in a deadly atmosphere. This project will explore this scenario using passive scalar transport.
