This project studies the thermal and thermal-stress behavior of an aluminum heat sink subjected to both steady-state and transient heat loading. The analysis includes: • Steady-state temperature distribution with a base heat flux of 1000 W/m² • Transient thermal response with a square-wave heat flux cycling between 0–1000 W/m² • Thermal stress analysis using the steady-state temperature field as the load, with the heat-sink base fixed Material properties, boundary conditions, and loading follow the given problem specifications.
