This project applies numerical methods for partial differential equations to simulate turbulent water flow in a heated pipe using the Finite Volume Method (FVM). You will solve the Reynolds-Averaged Navier–Stokes equations using either ANSYS Fluent or SimScale. Simulation results will be compared with empirical correlations such as the Blasius friction factor and Dittus–Boelter heat transfer.
