Slide 2: The Hidden Problem But there’s another major source of wastage that often goes unnoticed — water tank overflow. We turn on the motor to fill the tank and then forget to switch it off on time. Did you know that a tank overflowing for just 30 minutes can waste up to 500 litres of water? This not only wastes water but also increases your electricity bill. Slide 3: The Idea So, how can we stop this from happening? What if your phone could show you the exact water level in your tank — and automatically turn off the motor before it overflows? Slide 4: The Solution That’s exactly what our startup offers — a Smart IoT-based Water Level Monitoring System. With a small sensor installed on the tank and a mobile app, you can track the water level anytime, anywhere, and save both water and electricity. The app displays the real-time tank level, gives an alert at 90%, and an alarm when the tank is full, so you can turn off the motor at the perfect time. It also sends a low-level alert when the water is about to run out — helping you manage usage efficiently. The best part? The sensor is solar-powered, meaning it operates without consuming electricity — making it both eco-friendly and sustainable.
