Aerodynamic analysis of a vehicle antenna for the VUB Vehicle Aerodynamics course. The objective is to evaluate and compare the drag and lift coefficients of a baseline rod antenna (cylindrical model) versus an optimized streamlined shape. The study utilizes a steady-state incompressible CFD solver with the k-omega SST turbulence model. Following the course requirements, a detailed mesh independence study is performed to validate the numerical convergence and analyze flow separation patterns in the wake of the geometries
