My goal is to simulate the full body of a car exploring the lift and drag forces on the unaltered body under normal and harsh weather conditions. I will use cross winds as varying angles and speeds to simulate harsh conditions on an open road. Once overall lift is determined on the unaltered body, I will test front wings, spoilers, and diffusers looking to generate enough downforce to counter the maximum lift generated by the unaltered vehicle body. The ultimate goal of this project is to ensure safety of smaller vehicles that may be more susceptible to harsh road conditions.
