The goal is to design a dredger that will remove excess sediment build-up. This dredger has a cutter head that separates sediment from the waterbed and is drawn into the pump through the suction pipe. This pipe  is housed on a ladder that is controlled by the hydraulic cylinder. A simulation and stress analysis will be done on the hydraulic cylinder which carries most the load of the ladder.

This project was based on the problem encountered by the sediment, which occupied most of the volume of the dam.  Certain components were considered and simulated in order for this process to be successful.
