About this project

Strong free surface and subsurface vortices often form in basins associated with pump intakes. These vortices can lead to swirl, reduced flow, air entrainment, and inefficient equipment operation. The aim of this project is to investigate or predict the occurrence of vortices in the vicinity of pump.
