Project Goal: The goal of this project is to test the aerodynamic efficiency of different wind turbine blade designs. We aim to analyze which blade configuration generates the most lift and performs best under simulated wind conditions. Simulation Type: We will use Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) for this project, specifically incompressible flow analysis, to simulate wind interaction with the blades. Project Details: This project is part of a student capstone task focused on renewable energy and wind turbine optimization. We designed three different blade types in SketchUp and will import them into SimScale to observe airflow, pressure distribution, and performance differences. Results will help us identify which blade design is most efficient in converting wind energy.
