Underrun protection part with design improvement. Due to results of the simulation under the critical load (load case 1): maximal deflection of the underrun beam was 441 mm. This is not acceptable, considering the design criteria of maximum displacement 400 mm. Thus, there is a lack of stiffness of underrun beam. The simplest way to increase this stiffness is increase the depth of the beam up to 49 mm (It was just 45 mm before the improvement).
