Solar updraft tower consist of a chimney, collector area and generator. The collector made of glass or some other material to collect the heat of sunlight thereby the air under the collector area heats and moves upward through a chimney(buoyancy effect) there is a generator at the bottom of the chimney while air moves upward it rotates the turbine and generate electricity.
