Enhancement studies on generative design in additive manufacturing

Major industries today favour the participation of generative design in the design methodologies and manufacturing process. We aim to dig into the simpler levels of generative design in order to prove the alteration of parameters and properties to demonstrate industrial applications. The study involves working through the process of 3D printing with the aid of SLM (selective laser melting) techniques. The software utilized is Autodesk's Generative Design, hosted in Fusion 360. The article focuses on the improvement of characteristics in the component thereby enhancing the performance concerned.
